Why, in this day and age, are there still mounted police? What value is a mounted policeman while traversing a congested city street? Are we to believe that a policeman on horse patrol can give chase to an assailant in a speeding car? What genius thought this one up?

Why are some people's moods determined by the weather? Anyday that you are alive should be a good day. The world needs rain as much as it needs sun...stop complaining about the weather. Anyone whose fixation on the weather determines whether they are happy or sad doesn't have much of a life to speak of in the first place.

Inevitably throughout the course of your life you will encounter someone who says they hate getting up in the morning and they hate morning people (people happy to get up in the morning). If you are one such person perhaps you should stop getting up in the morning. If your life is so meaningless and devoid of joy, perhaps you should consider killing yourself and spare the rest of us your mindless diatribes.
